How it works

(Un)stable turns any market idea into a single onchain token — a fixed, fully-backed basket of tokenized stocks and crypto assets that you can mint, redeem, and swap.

The idea

An index is a token whose value is defined by a fixed recipe: a set of underlying assets and the exact quantity of each that backs one share. The recipe is set once, at creation, and can never change. Every share in circulation is fully backed by real assets held in the index's own isolated vault — there is no manager, no active rebalancing, and no discretionary custody.

The lifecycle

  1. Define one share

Choose the assets and the weight each one represents. The composition becomes immutable the moment the index is created.

  2. Deploy the index

Creating an index deploys the index token and its isolated vault onchain. Deployment does not deposit any assets — it only fixes the rules.

  3. Mint shares

Deposit the complete basket of underlying assets to mint index shares. Because backing is exact, minting always reflects the real assets you supplied.

  4. Redeem anytime

Burn your shares to receive the underlying assets back from the vault, in the same fixed proportions. Redemption is permissionless.

Fully backed, always. Quantities are exact contract inputs — not percentage estimates or oracle prices. What backs a share today is what backs it at redemption.

Built for Robinhood Chain

Indexes are deployed on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663). Swaps choose the best available Uniswap v2/v3 route, and wallet sign-in is handled by Privy so you can connect with a wallet, email, or social login.
